Cincinnati Mourns Death of Wild Animal they Kept Locked up for Years

CINCINNATI (May 31) - Cincinnati had been keeping a gorilla locked up for years. Citizens could pay money to look at the gorilla, but he wasn't let out. The other day that gorilla was shot and killed when a child fell into his enclosure. One person on Twitter commented that they should have "Shot [the child's] mother" instead of the gorilla. Seriously? It was a wild animal that was kept caged for our entertainment. There is an entire legal organization that is trying to free primates from captivity. If we'd given the gorilla a gun, he probably would have shot himself.
