CONNECTICUT (March 10) - last night on Sports Center, Scott Van Pelt referred to SDSU as "The San Diego State Jackrabbits," not South Dakota State. just another time people have mixed up South Dakota with the city of San Diego. as we all know, South Dakota was discovered by the German's and means, "A whale's vagina."
