Steve King: Mr 535

IOWA (Sept 15) - If you see modern America as a conspiracy to turn kids gay and take rights from White-Christian-men, we could see the appeal of Steve King. Just THIS week, Steve said that Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the National Anthem shows that he is "sympathetic to ISIS", and he also said that child care tax credits should only go to "normal" families (he explains that: "The natural family is a man and a woman joined together in -- hopefully -- holy matrimony, blessed by God with children").

So if you're the type of guy who sets down his walking taco to shout "TRAITORS!" at the TV if any football player kneels before the game, Steve seems like he's your guy!

But since he was first elected in 2002, Steve King has gotten ZERO sponsored bills out of committee. 94 bills and not a single one becomes law! WOW! 0-94! Often as a member of the party in the majority, this makes Steve King historically ineffective. He is currently dead last in effectiveness, 535th out of 535. And one of the least effective congressmen ever.

He has been paid around $3 million (roughly $200,000 in salary and expenses over 15 years) for this "public service." And that doesn't count the cost of his staff to draft these bills that are doomed to die -- even in committees controlled by his own party.

So if we're looking to curb waste and fix ineffective government, defunding Steve King would be a good place to start! Now, he can still have an opinion (until the Vagenda of Manocide nullifies the First Amendment for older, caucasian males), but our tax money wouldn't go toward funding that opinion.
