Behind This Print Is A Shirt Made in the USA By Fair-Trade-Certified Labor...

Our new house brand of blanks -- Heather Grey, Heather Blue, and Heather Black -- were designed by us. They use 50% Organic Cotton and 50% Recycled Polyester and are made in the USA by America's oldest Fair-Trade-Certified garment factory (Nature USA). In one California facility, we can watch thread be turned into fabric, then fabric be cut and turned into shirts. Those shirts are shipped to us in Des Moines, where we print them.

Like magic!

The first shipments of these colors arrived this month, and we are working them into our rotation now. We thought the "Sorry About Donald Trump" would be a good one to start with. The words are not just a message, the actual shirt is a message. Voting and participation are important, but living your ethos day to day is equally important.

We want to see fair treatment of workers, and a respect for the humanity behind the products. A majority of our products are American-made (glassware, paper products, etc), and if not American-made, they are certified sweat-shop-free.

Though ensuring fair treatment and respect for others is a constant work in progress.

We didn't start RAYGUN to get rich (if we did, we are doing a shitty job at getting rich!), we started RAYGUN to add something to the communities we have gotten so much from -- that raised us, educated us, and support our business.

Thinking about how much we owe to others -- not how much is due to us -- keeps us marching to better ourselves.

Thanks to everyone who shops here, and know that we are constantly trying to improve what we do, how we do it, to be a small reflection of how we'd like to see the rest of the world.
